I keep passing back and forth and through cities on my way to NYC. My life is filled with trains, planes, and automobiles. Here are some off moments of me finding decompression in between the masses and scheduled slots of time. I haven’t been a place for more than 5 days for a bit and I spent one and a half days in Richmond. One of the most beautiful spaces I have had the luxury to teach in and strangely made me miss that black box theater at Iowa. Met lots of new faces. Looking forward to working with them again and eating more Richmond food. Now I am off to the DC area.
I found myself without an exit ticket from Atlanta so it only made sense to sojourner in New Orleans and pick up a little work to compliment my decadent poverty.
I visited Atlanta for a day then drove to Athens to teach a few classes and a workshop. Georgia is beautiful and the studio and people of Canopy are inspiring and refreshing.

This is the first run of  developing character. I have two ideas running side by side. A modern day Victor/Victoria and a spooky suspense comics inspired idea. She was introduced as Lisa Mischief, a woodland creature living in the depth of the dark and light sides of life. Lannie’s is one of my favorite places to perform a really great staff with top notch entertainment.
I finished up a week of workshops in St. Louis at Bumbershoot. I already miss the students and the space and this city where I went to the Visual and Performing Arts High School literally around the corner from the studio.
