using classical technique we will explore abstract theories to find new ways to move through, above and around the hoop.

We will look at how contemporary dance, movement studies, and aerial help us experiment and reach beyond out perceived limitations.

Research and Destroy (silks/rope) 10:30am- 12:30pm
This class is for aerialists withe experience who want to broaden their boundaries and identify habits, assumptions, and expectations in their artistic practice. We will work toward creating a coherent, thinking body by building awareness using technique and skills collected through research and experience. We will integrate transition and “tricks” into sequences to become better technicians and performing artists being mindful of the question “what are we choosing/drawing from and why?”
